Bible Analyzer on the other hand is free but allows you to customize it cheaply if you want to upgrade it and make it even more powerful so your not paying for features you will never use. I will recommend it for any serious bible student. And you can purchase an enlarged version that is suitable for studying the Bible. For me while Logos is good, it tends to have many bells and whistles I never use and is over priced. I have also purchased the Hebrew word study bundle and the Greek word study bundles (these are awesome to study the original Hebrew and Greek $8 each).Īlthough, I have Logos I find myself mainly using the Bible Analyzer. For me personally I wanted to study a little deeper so I added the BDB Hebrew Lexicon ($4) Strongs Dictionaries and AV Indexer (links the scriptures $3) Thayer Greek Lexicon ($4).
You can also very cheaply upgrade it if you want to study a little deeper although it comes with many free and useful modules in the free version including 26 different bibles and other useful modules that can be downloaded with the download manager. You can even copy and paste your old studies directly into it. It is fast you can link your texts in the S-Pad. My main bible study and note taking software is Bible Analyzer linked above. I found that the expensive Logos was not worth it as I was paying for many books and things I never used and it was too slow. Unlike many other Biblical software, this one features an attractive and functional interface that lets you read any Bible book or chapter, consult one of the included dictionaries and commentaries, and write your own notes, all in the same, four-panelled window.
